The Chair, a broken fence and an ancient Oak

Photograph of a director's chair in front of a fence and an old oak tree.
…the fence blocks socialization, the tree doesn’t participate in any kind of conversation; I can only guess at its stories, its past, who visited before, the pain it must have felt when the fence was nailed to its side.

Isolation – it’s a bitch. In my next life, please, don’t let me be a tree.

The only good thing about a tree is …it will more than likely survive many storms. It bends with the wind and bounces back ….where humans can be stiff and unyielding. The chair is empty… the tree still stand and faces what comes its way. Great photo!
