Good Morning, Morning Glory

Mid-morning, heavily overcast sky, kind of gloomy overall, but flowers are gorgeous in this Texas spring. A few raindrops make the blossoms more interesting and the gentle light emphasizes soft colors and delicate petals. It makes me think of those few women I’ve loved – Ahh, no, just the one I love right now. She’s the only one, really – ouch!

The Raspberry Chipotle Sauce over cream cheese served with crackers wasn’t well-received. On the other hand, the Coconut, Pineapple, Mango, Tequila sauce was a big hit. Although, in truth, I ate most of that myself. It seems our gringo guests just don’t take to sweet, spicy flavors.
